The FIA's International Court of Appeal will hear Red Bull and McLaren's appeals against Monaco decisions on Tuesday 25 August.

On 7 June, having received reports from the Race Director of the Monaco Grand Prix, the stewards imposed two 5-second time penalties on Pierre Gasly for pit-lane speeding during the race, for recorded speeds of 60.1 km/h and 60.4 km/h respectively, in breach of Article B1.6.3a of the FIA Formula One Regulations - Section B.

That same day, the stewards received two petitions for review under Article 14 of the FIA International Sporting Code from Alpine in respect of the aforementioned decisions of the stewards of the Grand Prix.

On 12 June, the stewards determined that there was a significant and relevant new element that was unavailable to them at the time of their decisions.

Consequently, they decided to rescind both 5-second time penalties imposed on Gasly, amend the race classification and recalculate the drivers' and constructors' points.

With Gasly reinstated in third place, this meant that Isack Hadjar dropped to fourth, Oscar Piastri from fourth to fifth, and the Racing Bulls drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad from fifth and sixth to sixth and seventh, respectively.

Mercedes lodged a Right of Review in respect of George Russell, who had received a drive-through penalty for failing to serve his initial speeding penalty correctly, and was due to attend a stewards' hearing on 20 June, but withdrew its petition on 18 June before the hearing was held.

On 16 June, McLaren and Red Bull lodged appeals against the decisions before the International Court of Appeal.

The hearing, which is closed to the public, will be heard at Place de la Concorde on Tuesday 25 August at 09:00, the decision to be published as soon as possible after the hearing.
